I work on a duel 1.2 processor Mac G4 that runs Tiger OS X 10.4. I edit in FinalCut Pro 5 and do motion graphics in After Effects. It is connected to a network of a similar G4 and a G5, all of which are supported by video Raids and AJA capture cards.
