So you think the MacBook would handle even large projects in FCP fine?
And why not premiere? Is it that much more demanding? Because FCP doesnt support hardware GPU accelaration at all (except for Motion and Color).
Will upgrading the RAM from 4GB to 8GB make a big difference on this system?

And a 7200rpm hdd connected via USB 2.0 would be sufficient?

Thanks for the reply, but I would need transmission over like 500M for sure… Would that be possible?
Also the Teradek cube is really expensive, Im sure there must be a cheaper alternative which has greater range. As I said, the quality of the video doesnt matter, I certainly dont need HDV transmission.

Thank you:-). Maybe these are stupid questions, but it’s better to look dumb than to be: Why would you duplicate the car layer and put it on top of the chroma key layer? Also, I suppose the empty car could just be one frame with one mask? I think the only thing that will be in front of the actors will be the backs of the seats.

I didnt shoot the film yet, I just have a few sewconds to see what it would like:-). I wouldnt film something without knowing in advance what Im going to do with it. So do you have any ideas what to do with it, please? Rotoscoping is pretty desperate:-). Please? Any suggestions welcome.
