Qualifications:

Provides information relevant to enhancing content. Produce/Direct in-studio segments; coordinate and executes remote shoots and guest interviews. Identifies casting opportunities and new talent.

Perform administrative tasks including: maintaining asset tracking documents; creating spreadsheets and presentations, and liaising with other departments; oversees the technical standards, show formatting, spot formatting, deal memos, contracts, and production policies. Creation & organization of offline projects for editors.

Organization of folder structures, proper naming schemes, etc. of all digitized footage kept on shared area network storage. Digitizing, compressing & converting footage for offline editorial use
Record voice overs and build out rough cuts for editor.

Facilitate exchange of renders and graphics between editor and animation artists
Build graphics and titles in Photoshop and After Effects and prep files for sound mix, color grade, conform as necessary. Help producers to revise edits for new versions

Excels in various aspects of physical production including lighting, camera operation, audio, and video switchers; Master level in editing software: FCP7, Adobe Premier. Deep understanding of codecs, exporting, transcoding and converting video files. Expert level sense for timing, pacing and working with music. Can excel in "finishing a video" (balancing audio, color correcting, fine tuning cuts, etc.)
Familiar with Canon 5D,7D,60D, HVX200, C300 and Panasonic AF100 as well as the various lenses used to make a great image and the ability to edit quickly, efficiently and integrate notes on the fly
Deep knowledge of the production and post process with the ability to troubleshoot tech issues.
