  • Thanks, I ended up finding Izotope RX2 Advanced and doing basically the same thing. Worked great!

Thank you all for your replies. I ended up duplicating the video tracks, crating a title with an ellipse around my subjects, placing a track matte on Video 2, Matte to Video 3 which is the title, then did a gaussian blur on the bottom track. I can now move the title ellipse around as my subjects move around the screen. This keeps all but the ellipse track matte clear while keeping the background blurred.

    Thanks again

Sorry, no. I need a way to move the mask as the fixed points. Something like moving a rectangular marque around the screen. Once I set the points of the mask I do not want to have to move them individually at all. I just want to move the box to follow my subjects.

Thank you for your reply. What I am actually asking is once the mask is contoured to the subject I would like to move the mask as a whole instead of having to move the vertices one by one. In AF you can grab the mask by one of the lines and drag the whole mask across the screen. As this does not need to be a perfect mask always tightly contoured, it would make it much easier than moving each point individually. Thanks again.
