I am sorry for not being clear, the 5 hours is just for compressing. Upload times vary on internet speed. We capture our footage at about 1GB/minute and by the time I compress the video with Vimeo’s recommended settingsand it turns out to 1.5GB-2.5GB for a 40-60 minutes video.

Here is my dilemma, … I have a feeling that we will be doing more production stuff in the future and I’d hate to spend money on another iMac that will not be as good as the Mac Pro. This computer will not be changed for another 10-15 years (I’m not kidding). I want to make sure that if we do get a computer it will take us at least 10 years before we notice any problems. We have enough money in our budget for a new Mac Pro so it is very tempting. I’m not sure if I should continue using our iMac for a new years and then upgrade or to get it now.

Ben, do you mind explaining that expression? What each element of the function means? Is there a way to make it a simpler expression? I’d like something short that is easy to remember. If possible.
