    You did hit one of the four show killers:

    White noise (rain in the trees).
    Microphone too high/low.
    Moving interference (MetroBus)
    Echoes

    Echoes seem like they should be curable, but the thing about echoes is that it’s the talent’s own voice coming back late from the walls of the performance area. Very few software packages will remove an actor from himself.

    Under certain very limited circumstances you can use a noise gate, but for the most part, you have no show.
