no possible – was able to access my work computer through screen sharing though and pull it out from the attic but i think it has to do with too many items in a bin – although i don’t count more than 20…

thanks a million – also, do you know if avid like fcp renders when you output to say xdcam disk? Or have i completely messed up by not rendering correctly?

The media is on an external harddrive – so it should read, but on my work computer there are several drives with avid mediafiles folder on them. So what i did (reading another forum) was renaming other (none related) folders with an “x” in front, and then relink to ama files – and this time it worked…not sure if that is the best way, but at least it worked – and i need to find a way to move projects between work and home…

thanks – is this ae6 you have? i don’t get exactly what you say, but get openGL info, and there it ways the quadro card – however openGL is not enabled. Also, when using optical flares, if i tick the use GPU box, ae crashes….i’m on ae5 btw…
