Case closed. Somehow, half of my RAM got jarred loose. Put it back in place and the project loads without any issues. What a relief!

I was able to open the project and save the entire project as another file name, which is what I’m trying to work off of now but it’s doing the exact same crash sequence.

    Thanks for your reply Don.

That’s kind of what I thought was happening but I’m not able to get as far as copy/pasting my final sequence into another file without it crashing. Can a file just turn corrupt over time without any sort of manipulation? It just sat on my drive for a month and then became unresponsive. Am I screwed?

Also, I forgot to mention, right when FCP is about to crash “compressord” and “qmasterqd” are not responding in my activity monitor.

Wow. Really not sure what happened there. That link is wrong. The video in question is the “I’m on a boat” music video by The Lonely Island. I’m sorry for the confusion.

Sorry. I should have been more specific. I’m referring to the white bursts of light that appear and disappear at those times. They look almost like an exposure rack but I’m not sure.

    Thanks

    Thanks a lot!

I just ran a test with these settings and I like the look of it.
