To everyone having the same issue:

I just updated my “Explode Shape Layers” script to the latest version and it has an option for exactly that. it removes the artboard artifact.

I hope this helps others who have the same issue.

Although I find the script really helpful with its “explode” function aside from the “remove artboard artifact”, if anyone has a free solution to the same problem, please share it.

Thanks, mate. I thought of the renaming thing as well, so I guess that’s the thing to go around that. I hope adobe take a note here and think of that for their next releases. I know it will f*ck up the backwards compatibility but I can live with that.
