    I encountered the same issue. I decided to look at the disc with XDCAM Browser Version 2.0.0.222 [instead of the older XDCAM Tranfer software], and the exported clips look fine with no error messages. The exported clips also played back fine in camera [PDW-F800].

    Solved my problem by checking the box “recompress all frames,” on the export page. Did not have to do this for other sequences, but this seemed to do the trick for the sequence that would not export.

    With the PDW-700 recording to XD disc media you have an archival version of your footage – a true back-up that you can return to in the future. This can be a big advantage over the media management that is required with P2 to maintain proper back-ups.
