    Thanks for your advice.

I changed the codec to one of the Microsoft ones and after it rendered it looked better. The quality was poor though and playing back was a bit choppy.

    Which codec would you recommend?

    Hi guys,

I have the same problem as the OP, but my situation is a bit different.

    Here are my sequence settings:

    editing mode: desktop
    timebase: 59.94 fps

    frame size 1920×1080
    aspect ratio square pixels (1.0)
    fields: not fields (progressive scan)
    display format: 60fps dropframe timecode

audio is 48k and displayed in audio samples

    preview file format: MS AVI
    codec DV (24 Advanced)

neither the maximum bit depth nor maximum render quality boxes are checked.

I originally had the preview file format as I-Frame, but it didn’t render when I pressed Enter. So I changed the Preview file and it renders, but the image is blown up to where it isn’t supposed to be.

    PC Specs:
    i7 920 (OC to 3.7)
    3 GB OCZ DDR3
    640 GB WD Black
    GTX 260 OC

    Thanks for any help
