What are the render settings for your sequence? If you set your Final Cut sequence video processing settings to 8bit YUV, things tend to render quite a bit faster.

This looks like camera sharpening. For greenscreen work it’s recommended you
turn off any sharpening and apply when doing the composite. It’s pretty easy to see
in the red channel.
