I got the gist of this, but I’m not sure how to adapt it to my project. I currently have a path of my EKG drawn with a Stroke effect on it to make it act like a real EKG. Where should I go from there?

Awesome, thanks John! The displacement map effect is exactly what I needed. Not quite sure why I didn’t think of trying that first.
