I took the 201 class last June and I can tell you that I’m much happier I took that over the 101 class. There’s a lot on that test, and certification requires an 80% pass. It’s pretty hardcore. And yeah, if you know the FCP 6 book nearly off by heart, you should be fine, but I don’t know that the 101 class teaches you everything. I pretty much locked myself in my hotel room when I wasn’t in the classroom and managed to pull an 88%.
But, being certified won’t necessarily get you a job. You’ll know how the program works, but that’s about it.
Enjoy though, I had a blast. Just make sure to study study study…

Alright, I ran the extended hardware test, it ran for an hour and a half, and turned up nothing. I’ll work with the program some more, maybe run the hardware test after another crash, and report back.

Yeah, that’s what I’d feared. Thanks for the input, I’m going to give it a shot here after I get some other ducks in a row. I’ll be back to inform on what I found.
