    Many thanks again Vince!! Problem solved. There was a conflict with the field order. Just started a new project as you suggested and made everything ‘progressive’. Many thanks for your help Vince, kinda been thrown into the unknown but you have helped me immensely. Cant thank you enough… be prepared for further questions in the future though hehe.

    many thanks Vince. not too sure whether my settings are interlaced or progressive. can you let me know exactly whereabouts I can change these settings… and which option is best.

    The text seems to be worst affected.. more so than the images, but these still are far from perfect.

    The final mpeg plays okay on Pc monitor, just not on TV screen.

    Many thanks. sorry for sounding like a dum dum.. but i really dont know much about this. Whats better progressive or interlaced, and how do I make them the same? do I also have to do this with the after effects file? I notice that theres a ‘deinterlace’ check box in Adobe Media encoder window. where else do i need to change it? cheers, kelvin.
