That did it. Found a newer driver on Version Tracker that solved the problem. Thanks.
I need to change the graphics card anyway as I am now using a Samsung SyncMaster 244T monitor and need an AGP card that supports 1200×1920. Any suggestions? Looking at a Saphire Radeon X1600 Pro but there doesn’t seem to be much choice for AGP now.

Sorry Aanarav, I’ve been through both Podcasts on the capture process and see no mention of this particular problem. I have tried firing up the deck before starting PP2 and that does not help either.

I’ve just experienced the same problem (internal software error:.\Vobulator\TitlePlanner\CGOPGrouper.cpp,line 401) My project consists of 9 short videos where the viewer can navigate through alternate scenarios for each of the 9 videos. There are between 6 to 11 chapter marks for each time line, no overides, no looping menus and no clips shorter than 2 seconds. The problem only occured after I had made some changes for the client. I had replaced some clips which resulted in gaps in some of the timelines. Rebuilding the timelines to remove the gaps solved the problem.
