I too am wondering about this… I bought Final Cut Studio 3 about 16 months ago, loaded it on two computers, and never really got over the learning curve. (I’m a still guy, trying to adapt… I’ve just been delegated the editing.) I want to become a better editor, but it’s hard to teach an old dog new tricks.

That said, now with FCP X out, it looks so much friendlier, intuitive and visual. I know pros are balking, but perhaps for a guy like me who’s not yet comfortable with FCP, it’s a great way to go.

Should/could I sell Studio 3? Is it legal? Doesn’t it make sense to stay current and go with X? So many questions!
