So 4800×2700 is a different ratio to 16:9?

Strange I didnt come across those in my search but they are just what I needed.
i guess theres no quick and dirty way to do it other than animate the layers separately.

Thanks so much for all your informed responses!(sorry, Ive only seen these now!)
Its a year on and Ive chosen not to go back to study and am filling every second outside of my FT job learning all aspects of motion graphics, its a bit of a hard slog, I feel like I have two jobs but im working hard on a showreel and I love it.
So thanks for your good advice, its encouraging to know that you can build upon all your work experience and change direction without retraining in academia.

No it doesnt.

Ive followed the online sunflower tutorial but it doesnt show you how to animate it growing.
ive animated the petals using curves but when I change the growth parameter of branch it grows in reverse. IE from the top down and not other way round.
How do make it grow from ground upwards?
