Are you saying that the ? in the above line signifies the begining of the php variable? Do i need to remove the ? and all the code following it from the code in each of my pages to remove all the php. Or is there a simpler way of removing the php from our web page?
There must have been a reason it was put there in the first case, what changes can i expect to the overall performance of the site without the php?

Hi Fernando, I have renamed index.php to index.html and removed all the php code. I also manually changed all the .php links to .html.
The page still bounces all around when selecting from the left hand menu. Any other suggestions please?

Hi Fernando, thanks again for your help. I have done my editing and have gotten the site down to 4 errors(down from 30), the final 4 make changes to the page so i left them alone. The page now looks good in both IE8 and Firefox. However something is still not right and i dont know how to overcome/correct it. When navigating through the site, it returns to the home page in between going to where it needs to go, previously before i made all the changes, you could select any of the navigation buttons in the left hand menu and it would take you directly to that page. Now, as i said before, it goes back to the home page before taking you to the selected page. Any suggestions would as usual, be gratefully accepted, thank you.

Hi Fernando, its me again, you were so helpful with my last problem that decided to try again with my current problem. My page is exactly as i want it in IE8 but when viewed in Firefox the whole main body area appears right justified. I followed the instructions that you gave to the original poster in this thread and the validated code came up with errors, my problem is i don’t know how to fix these errors. Is there a program that will correct the errors in validated code or at least tell me in plain english what i need to do to correct them?
