The full entry needs to be in one paragraph to show up as one entry in the Table of Contents. The issue then becomes how to break it onto two lines in the book itself.
Personally I just usually use forced line return in the book and then fix the Table of Contents line breaks after generating it with a search and replace to take out forced line returns.
Other options exist, such as changing the paragraph settings to force the text onto a second line automatically (with right indent or some such thing). If your chapter titles are in a text box of their own, adjusting text box width manually to force the title onto two lines is another possibility.

Can you upload three screen shots of the problem comp: One that shows the image before cc sphere applied, one that shows it after adding cc sphere effect and third rotated to where the problem shows up? Effect settings visible.

My initial instinct says to use a long precomp of a straight moving film strip and warp it into shape using a mesh warp. Probably better ways exist.

That is accomplished by tracking the bottom layer footage and applying the tracking results to the top layer.
Two-point tracking should suffice, but here is an overview of different methods of tracking in AE:

Sounds like you have extra (transparent) pixels in the layer beyond the visible image area. If so, trim the extra transparency in Photoshop before importing to AE. Or, if you have precomped the layer in AE, make sure the image fills the precomp with no extra empty space at the edges.

One approach is to use four copies of the original footage, moving independently, with different combinations of the solids/mattes used as track mattes (copies of the solid layers parented to one master pair). You’ll end up with a lot more layers that way.
A second approach that would require less layers but more thought is assigning different grey values to the solids and using the results for displacement.

You need to clarify which effect you are talking about. Are you talking about the TV distortion type of effect that happens when the word stops rotating momentarily?
If that is the effect you are referring to, it is a displacement map (plus some shake and color flashes).

My guess is that you are seeing the seam of the two edges of your image wrapped around the sphere.
