Walter, this may be a great solution. So thank you for bringing it to my attention.
At present I think i have decided to go ahead with using FCPx. My thinking is that as i know it well, and as its render times are faster, i will just do the standard render each time i update the AE files. We’ll see if it works out, or i start in PP again.

Im having the same issue. I have heavy AE files that need to be dynamically linked. Im a FCPx lover, but i started trying to to use Premier beau Im going to need to adjust at least 45 of the 55 shots a lot as i go along in the video, so i decided to Dynamic Linking was the answer. But now Im reading this it seems i may not be able to avoid re-rendering with every alteration? The way this is looking for this project I may as well just make the whole thing in AE, but that is too heavy for the mac (Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2014) i think? But i can’t use Premier with dynamics either?
Am i just going to have to go back to FCPx?Thanks!

Also, the pages in my master document are double page spreads in indesign, but the various documents Im coping from a single inDesign page documents. So when i try and paste in place with cmd+option+shift V, the image group seems to go in between the 2 pages.

The above screen shot represents my issue, though it has been posted twice, so ignore the repeated image. This represents 4 of the 9 different layout pages. So we have images in the black, which have file names as numbers. in the blue box we have the names of the images which are the numbers given to the image files.
Any sugestions on ways i can speed this up?
