Thanks John. I remember this now when I used Avid 10 years ago. The safe areas seem quite extreme! The title safe area too much so. The film came out of two ideas, one being BIG titles, nearly touching the edge of the screen. I guess technology dictates what we can or should do sometimes. I’m tempted to go into a TV shop and try the film out on every make of TV.

I noticed panning isn’t smooth on a recent film I made. But then I upt the quality from 25fps to 50fps, which is what it should be, and it seems to cope with it.
