Hey Mike,

I’ve been trying to make my 2016 MacBook Pro work well with premiere (my 2nd one, they replaced the first) but it just doesn’t not work well for a professional workflow, not with the money being thrown at it, I just can’t wrap my head around it. I should’ve kept my late 2013 MacBook Pro with the Nvidia card, I swear it ran faster than this model.

I’m using their top of the line unit with 1tb storage and it can’t handle a 4k workflow.
I’ve done the updates, turned down the settings to 1/8th, and it just is so sluggis! (good luck playing back 4k phantom 4 footage without rendering, its impossible) The “Metal” Playback is a joke too, its completely broken, slow, and does not work.

Looking at moving back to PC unless adobe and apple learn to work together. As of now, this isn’t worth the headache and money for all this. I will miss the Mac OS as well though thats for sure.
