I was able to get the backup to open! Praise the Lord. Just to be safe, I’ve copied the main timeline into a new event/library being stored on my local drive. I’ll finish editing it from there. All the footage is still on external hard drives. Does that seem like a good idea?

I guess something in the latest version of that library was corrupt. I don’t know. I’m scared to continue within that backup library. I’m 90% done with the project so I just want to finish it and close it out.
