yeah it was rastersized, and I was running CMYK so that probably is the problem..

Ok, I’ll show you what I’m doing, ok I pasted this from Illustrator https://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=6/16515330074.gif&s=f5 , no bkg, then I applied the effect https://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=6/16515344916.gif&s=f5 , next I saved the file https://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=6/16515354540.gif&s=f5 , next I opened it in Illus https://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=6/16515314954.gif&s=f5, then I released the crop marks https://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=6/16515402950.gif&s=f5, and this is what I get https://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=6/16515370344.gif&s=f5, I am really just trying to find out the best way for me to apply effects to text /objects in photoshop, and then have them vectored so I can throw them into signlab and have my vinyl printer cut it out, thats the reason for it having to be a vector image.

When I save it as a photoshop file and release crop marks I can delete a box but there is still another one and I don’t get the vector data i had before.

Ok, I found the setting in Illustrator to let me paste it into photoshop, but now when I export it back into Illustrator it has the vector data but it also has a big box around it rendering the vector data useless if I can’t make the box dissapear.

All it gives me when I paste from Illus to Photoshop is the Logo with the Rastersize yes/no prompt. Is this from settings or something, its a very simple logo.

More info- Ok well I actually have the logo as a Vector file but its plain white, I imported it into photoshop to add the effects and that causes it to rastersize, so I guess I now have another question how can I add my chrome effect with Illus/Photoshop and keep still keep it’s vector properties.
