Hey Dave. Thanks for the responds 🙂 I already use a lot of the effects in the distort category 🙂 The problem for the effect I am searching here is that the distort effects work with distorting the entire image, and not just the moving pixels, this way the whole image would get messy and not just the characters moving in the image 🙂

Hey Darby.

Thanks for the reply, I am tried what you suggested, but I am not sure how to use a linear ramp as an input. Could you explain a little more about this ? Or is there a tutorial i could watch ?

Having the same problem, really – REALLY – annoying.
Have tried restarting AE and the computer, seemed to work the first time, but the next time AE f***ed me up again.
Rendering a 3 minut comp, only does 7 seconds and then *PE-BLING* AfterEffects is done – “NO YOU ARE NOT!”

Must say this has only happened after I upgraded my AE (to fix the “need more the 2 frames” render issue).
Now I have this new issue.

Who recommends going back to 5.5 ?
