I am double-clicking from the media pool to open the clip in the preview window. I want it to open as its full landscape frame.
If I do double-click on the clips from my timeline, then it does show me the full frame in the preview window. But that’s not what I need, because I need to see the full frame before dragging into the timeline. Thank you

Got a few hundred hours of SD I think.
Its all logged perfectly into nice bins and themes.

I dont think that would be smart because then assuming that the majority is SD, I’d be down-converting the 720 footage, only to upres it back up to 1080 later…..?

Its all same framerates.

Footage is mix of handcam stuff, panasonic HVX200 mini DV and 720p.
Final file should be 1080p.

Please let me know best solution.

No because I’m using my laptop, the same computer…
I think I screwed up though, because the first time I opened up the project it was all not rendered for some reason… But then I tried to render some of it, then saving the project.
Now, in this instance, I think when I saved it over wrote all my old render files with the non rendered files????
Because I cant seem to get them back anyway…

Its really annoying because not only does it say it will take 2 weeks or so, it keeps crashing while rendering. ARG!

Using FCP 7.
Same everything…

I’ve tried reconnecting, and it reconnects some stuff. But the majority of clips are still not rendered!

Additionally buy changing the keyframes in the viewer to ‘smooth’ makes it even better.

Kevin, the 100% to 200% was just an example. Relax.
