Thanks for the input. I think the main idea, too for going uncompressed is to not have to render. Most of our projects go to DVD (ie – training videos, wedding videos…)

I just need to learn more about the settings & further my knowledge of Macs so I can trouble shoot this type of thing in the future.

I do have a monitor and it is set to 16:9. However, it is appearing squished in Final Cut on the preview window.
