Thanks for the quick response. Your resume obviously enforces the idea Vegas is a workable solution.
As far as specifics, I’ve been bouncing around Vegas all day and was able to solve some interface problems with the preference options, but I’m still having an issue with a few other key items:
We edit multiple stories in the span of a day, currently we borrow, and duplicate, and re-edit several sequences from within one project. How would you deal with cutting around 40 news elements a day? Would I have to open or nest a project for each instance I want a new timeline?
Is there anyway to quickly scrub the timeline without adding a new in point and selecting a new region?
I discovered how to turn off grouping, but can I seperate audio channels 1 and 2 and patch route them to different tracks on the timeline?
Last but not least, I can’t find the option to scrub audio frame by frame within the trimmer window. I can move frame by frame on the video, there has to be a key that enables the user to hear the audio.
Wow, that’s alot of questions. I have searched the manual and online for the answers, but haven’t found them.
Thanks so much for any help. It’s truly appreciated!
