I’m going to spend some time this weekend dissecting this new version but will be sure to post any questions I run into. Thanks for this. It’s great.

    Hi Roland,

This is great and at first glance is exactly what I need. I’ll dive into it to learn how it works and see if it can be adapted to my needs.

Thank you very much for putting this together.

This would work except not all of the particles will be entering and leaving the jello at the same time. If I use time remapping, won’t all of them slow down or speed up regardless of where the are in relation to the jello?

  • Thank you Cassius. Now I know that I can focus my attention on a 3D solution rather than banging my head against a wall in AE. The folks over at the Newtek forum are chiming in with some suggestions so hopefully something over there will get me going.

My biggest problem (mainly a mental one) was trying to figure out what to do if my precomp started 5 seconds into the final comp. If I put my audio in my precomp it would start at 0. What I neglected to realize was that I can always have my audio in my precomp start at -5 for testing purposes, it doesn’t have to start at 0, right?
