Thank you very much, Mike. I contacted the IT department at my school and upgraded to 8.0c. Now, I am able to edit without a problem. Thanks again, Josh.

Thank you all for your help. Unfortunately, I am working on my schools computers so I can’t add or update the program. I have tried it on multiple computers and the error message persists, except now I can not do anything because the message pops up right when the file has finished opening. Anymore help would be wonderful, thanks again.

I am doing simple edits at this point, 3 video tracks and two audio. Not many effects, only color correction. When it comes up I’m either trimming clips or dragging them into the timeline. The setup is an HP xw4600 Workstation. I am previewing the video out to a tv through a sony DVC recorder. Thanks.
