The only way I can think of achieving it is with plugins – the Form 2.0 plugin from Red Giant allows you to use an .obj sequence. Create an animated horse in your 3D software of choice, then export as a .obj sequence, and create the flames using maybe Starglow and Shine, or a combination of the two. I assume you’re looking to do something like this:

You could try looking in the Element Options menu. There is aa section called World Transform that allows you to move the anchor point. I think that there’s only one point available per model, but I may be wrong about that – you might want to go over the Element 3D tutorials – lots of information in there.

To expand on Dave’s info, the easiest way to do it is to browse the files in Adobe Bridge, then either right-click, and choose “Open With”, then After Effects, or select your file(s) in Bridge, and then drag and drop them into AE’s Project tab. It’s not as convenient as Premiere Pro, but, once you do this a few times, it’s just as quick.

I don’t know whether it can be made to work the way I understand your question, so that as the decibel level of one track rises, that of the other tracks goes down.

My simple search online for “alien fonts free” turned up a ton of stuff. Some are legible, but if you sift through the massive list, there are several that are illegible, or close enough that no one would decipher them quickly:

I believe that the CC updates have been coming in a periodic fashion, and have not been tied to a major release cycle as in the past. But to not have major news at NAB would be downright crazy. The logic appears obvious to me: “Do we do a major AE release where there are thousands of world wide media professionals in attendance, or at the local barber shop in Fresno on free balloon day?”
While it may have entailed a slight delay (or not – how would I know?) in one of the releases, not doing a major release at NAB would be sheer marketing folly. Timing is everything…

Hi Alex –
I never received any input to that effect, but bear in mind that most broadcast stations will take deliverables and air them as is, unless there are obvious technical problems, such as illegal colors problem codecs, or long run times. I see stuff on broadcast TV all the time in which spots which were designed in HD with no thought to center cutting have obvious missing content due to the crop. I don’t think they care, as long as the air time is paid for.
