    Update:
In a Premiere Pro project with all framerates at 23.976, AME rendered at 23.653 and Premiere Pro Exported the same project at 23.976. File format was MOV-Animation 1920×1080 Maximum Render Quality, Maximum Color Depth, Optimize Stills, Optical flow, audio stereo 48k 16 bit.

Recently I updated Windows 10 and had to reinstall OpenCL.Dll and updated GTX 1080 Ti drivers, but fail to see the relevance to this rendering discrepancy issue.

The frame rate in the original footage is 23.976, in the original sequence 23.976, PP & AME Preferences set to 23.976 as intermediate framerate.

My issue was not with any individual clip, it was with the complete project when transcoding with AME.

After posting to this forum, I re-exported the same project, and triple checking all settings and had no issue. As per MediaInfo the framerate is 23.976.

The only NON-Standard issue was transcoding as MOV-Animation, Optimize Stills, Full Color Depth, Maximum Quality instead of the standard h.264/Vimeo Quality, Optimize Stills, Full Color Depth, Maximum Quality which has never created video/audio sync issues for me.

My concern is why or how this can occur.

Thank you for taking the time to inquire on this issue.

    Thanks Shane for your reply.

My new SOP will be to avoid all nested sequences in Premiere Pro.

    Thanks for your insight.

  • Thank you for the quick response and provided link.

I have subscribed to the Drastic Technologies newsletter and look forward to downloading and testing this product.

This product appears to be the Swiss Army knife for conversion, more ability than I currently need, but solves the stated problem.

    Kindest Regards,
    Joseph

October 5, 2016 at 1:08 pm in reply to: Audio missing

Cleaning the cache did nothing to improve the situation…

I tested the problematic files in After Effects (2015.3) and all was ok.

I ran the same files thru a third party converter program and replaced the original files with the new converted files to recover the audio in PP.

My sense is Premiere Pro (2015.4) has some hidden structural problems.
This started by “Importing” my After Effects opening into PP, with Red Giant’s Magic Bullet Looks. I don’t know if the problem is with “Looks” or PP importing an AE project.

I may have to uninstall all CC & Red Giant products and reinstall…

    Thanks for the suggestion.

  • I ran into the same problem last month, though my system was duel boot (win7 Home Edition& Win10 Professional).

I built a new PC with 32 GB of DDR4 RAM and had CS6 on my Win7 HE OS and could only access 16 GB in total. At that time I decided it was time to upgrade to Adobe CC 2015.3 on the Win10 Pro side of the system. I have not had one regret at all with Win10 Pro and CC 2015…Boot and render times are excellent and have had less software hang ups than under Win7 HE/CS6…

The Limiting factor is Windows 7 HE (Win 7 Pro does not have this limitation) and I found no work around, not even a RAM-Disk which uses part of the accessible RAM allowed by windows.

    I hope this info helps.

    Good Luck

August 16, 2016 at 7:44 pm in reply to: Fastest way to transferring 30GB+ video files?

I have a cable internet connection and upload/download GB size files. It takes a great deal of time with one stream at a time…If this is one 30+ GB file, then the fastest way is overnight express, unless you have hours of free time to upload / download and have no other activity on the computer doing the work. Turn off all background programs and do not do anything while the process is in progress…

I regularly sync my Google Drive to a cloud folder to receive files for editing and compositing, but have to rely on the Postal service to return completed work. It also saves the client download time on their end. If it takes you 6-12+ hours to upload, then the client can only download once the upload is complete. There is nothing more frustrating that to almost have a completed upload and something interferes and corrupts the upload and you have to begin the process again…

    Good Luck.

I started from square one and everything works as you have indicated.
User error must have been the issue…
Thank you for your patience and suggestions.

    Thanks for your follow-up.

I went back and applied the camera tracking positions to the text layer and all works just dandy.

When I added mask for each fence gap (5x), they drifted over time, even though the mask were on the text layer (3D layer)…

I even started over by creating the mask on the text layer before applying the 3d positions…no improvement.

I’m sure you’re right about the mask following the text, but I seem to be missing something??? Maybe the paths should have the Positions applied, if possible?

Again, thanks for your continued interest and suggestions.
