    Ha,

I wish I had read about that importing setting a week ago. We finished bringing in the last of the media today, and have already distributed the project out to the teams. But we’re gonna look into that write ID XMP setting for the next show. Thanks for pointing that out. I hope it works.

Meanwhile, the search bin but continues to perplex me. It seems to really not work specifically around multiclips.. so at least we’ve narrowed down the suspect a little.

    We’ve seen this too.

We have to flatten our multicam before we hand it off to the audio mix. and in one sequence we noticed about 7 One frame gaps throughout the 44 minute sequence.

We couldn’t find rhyme or reason as to the why, but it does look like it’s always the first frame that gets cut.

The only guess I can make is that some of the multicam clips are using I frame compression instead of quicktime.. and maybe it’s cutting on an I frame, so it needs to jump to the next I frame in line? i’m not sure.

    Any help would be appreciated.

Hey there, I’m specifically trying to do it from within the search bar at the top left of the bin. I was hoping that it’s a simple matter of not knowing the correct character. Much like google has search operators and putting the query in quotes looks for the exact text.

The Find box helps but my goal is to sift/filter the bin to show only those music tracks, or clips meeting my criteria. More then just jumping from the next to the next. Is there a way to display the results of the “Find” command in a bin, like a search bin?

I did find a workaround by using search bins. If I make a new search bin and on the top put in “act” and set the parameter to be and, then put in “01” in the next box… that does give me the results I want. I wish however that I could add additional parameters and not be limited at only 2 boxes.

    Anyway, thanks

  • Thanks Trent,

I’ll submit that request (with a few others) to the feature request.

Unfortunately the one detail I left out is that these bites are multicams, so I need to look at them from within a premiere project.

While pointing Media Browser to the source files might be an option for some clips, I would need to be able to quickly relate that to the multiclip that houses it, which might prove more troublesome then my current work around.

    Thanks again,

    JON
