The point of reveal may be a bit to “hard”, so if you animated a slightly feathered mask on the tip of the red circle as it is coming in, along with some forced motion blur just on the tip, that could work. I think speed may be the key to getting this to feel better as well. If you speed the entire circle animation up, you’ll notice the reveal detail less and the motion more.

With a little more testing, I was able to bake the dynamics and get this solution to work. Thanks!!!

I tried that route, but when I bake the simulation, it goes haywire. I’m working on an xpresso tag now to keep the X and Z constant, not sure if that will conflict w/ the dynamics or not…

I have been trying everything and cannot figure this one out. Has anyone had this problem in Encore OR DVD Studio Pro? I’m considering switching to Studio Pro if I cannot resolve this with Encore.

Text brought in to encore as actual editable text does not anti-alias, which looks bad on screen. Try bringing in the text as an anti-aliased graphic. If it still looks bad, it might be too thin of a text to be reproduced well on an NTSC tv, in which case you may want to experiment with something broader.
