Thanks, that’s a great tip! It really works…doesn’t take long. It’s just a matter of getting it to look like mountains, and when the mountains and valleys are flat because they went over the edge, just apply “Repair.” Works even better with a negative amplify so they don’t go to the edge. It’s nice to know too that sometimes one might be able to get the data from one channel that isn’t distorted, but just the Repair tool in that Beta-Audacity works great.
