Thanks, I’ll look into it but I just used shorthand. I’m assuming that it knows what the frame rate of the footage is. I’ll check it out though, thanks for the heads up! 🙂

I redid the 95 minute file, actually had to break it up into two parts in order for it to work. But it still has the blur between frames and at times it repeats a frame or something and it gets off. Sometimes it repeats a frame in place of the frame that’s supposed to be there. The cuts in the movie are hard cuts, yet when you go through the rendered out file there is a blend frame on the cuts which shows me for sure that it is blending frames. 🙁 I’m desperate!!!

It’s at 23.98 and it didn’t add a pull-down (I exported it microsoft avi with “none” compression), in after effects there are no repeat frames so I know it’s the right frame rate. It’s on the right frame rate setting in after effects, 23.98 with no pull-down.
And I don’t believe it scaled it any differently than 720×480 (it’s the default export setting in premiere cs3, so that should be correct right?)

Nope, it’s not Fat32. Otherwise I wouldn’t be able to hold the 132 gig avi file on there. Like I said, the avi file plays fine outside of after effects.

Why on earth would there be a 2gig file limit in after effects???

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately that isn’t the situation. I’m on PC and haven’t changed anything and am using avi instead of QT.

Still can’t get it to work. Anyone out there able to help??? It sees the m2p or mp2 file but won’t open it.
