Thanks for the post Beeny. On my (rather antiquated) system quicktimes produce very sluggish framerates in vegas, especially when they are imported from mac/final cut, which is the case here. Youre right that it seems crazy to convert such an amount of clips (144 actually), it would take me at least 20 hours. The problem was that I couldnt capture on my computer, and the only alternative was a Mac. Fortunately its not a problem anymore, I have found another pc running vegas, and recaptured the footage.

On that note I have a new question, less crazy than the last.
I tried to find a way to transfer the log info from final cut to vegas, but without luck. Would you know how to do this? I read a bit about AAF and XML but ended up doing it manually.
