I have been an independent in TV sports for 15 years. Over that time I have had just about every relationship I can think of with big networks, small networks and other clients. If you value the relationship with a client then work to keep it. If you do not, move on and find other clients. Many clients do not really care what goes into what they pay for, only what comes out. For me the best way to get more clients is to keep the ones I have satisfied. We have choices and so do your clients.

    Cheers,

I have spent the past 15 years in sports television, mostly live and mostly as a producer. With few exceptions most of the advances in sports have come in the packaging of events. We have seen some new perspectives but mostly it has been “where can we add a new sound effect?” It is one of the major reasons I am transitioning out of sports.

My biggest conversation with clients is about 3 things. Story, story, story. Everything else is about how we execute those.

We figured it out. We split the image into four sections and used the HUD to time out the moves. I was hoping that there was some sort of short cut that we could use other then eyeballing and jiggering.

Thanks for responding. Still learning my way around motion. Each discovery opens up a lot of doors.
