Thanks John. Good advice re: upgrading in the middle of a project. My main issue was why the sequence would play unrendered in CS3 and be erratic in CS4. I thought that I may have missed something.

Thanks John – That did it! Much Appreciated! Except for Sony Vegas, Acid and Sound Forge, I’m strictly a Mac man. Would have never figured it out on my own.

    Hi John Teti,

Thank you for contacting Sony Creative Software.

At this time Sony Creative Software develops software for Microsoft Windows operating systems. By sticking with one platform, Sony Media Software is able to focus on perfection and stability. We do not have support for SCS applications running on a MAC platform using Parallels, Boot Camp, or other dual boot platforms that allow for using Windows on a Mac system.

However, we are always open to your input and your suggestions. Please feel free to send a product suggestion request at the following link. It goes directly to the development team:

If you still have a follow-up question on this particular incident, please feel free to update it. If you have a completely different question, please create a new incident.

    Sincerely,

    Eric D.

    Thanks John for the response.

Motu Ultralite for Audio and midi input

Motu Ultralite 3 connected to Firewire port of Intel Mac Pro running Bootcamp Windows XP, Vegas 9.0b

Asio error message on Vegas launch.
No Asio option in Audio Device Pane.
Ultralite Audio ins/outs if Classic Wave driver is selected.

Selecting Ultralite midi ports in Midi Pane crashes Vegas.

Hope that helps clarify the issue.

    Thanks Lance.

I trashed the preferences in the Adobe Application Support folder and all is well.

    Best,
    John
