C100 rocks for many reasons IMHO… foremost for my wedding videography are: fantastic dynamic range, zebra stripes and other monitoring features, XLR ports for audio. There are many more but those features work for me.
I agree with the previous post, the Sennheise G3 wireless lavs are excellent and dependable in my experience.

A good first attempt. Best advice I can give you is to seek out and watch wedding films by quality companies and take notes. You’ll improve quickly that way and develop your own style along the way.
