@Paul, I’m totally confused. What does rendering have to do with file naming? For example, my clip name is X00000001, and the output file I get is “airport-card-a” which is the sequence name. The system automatically adds sequential numbers afterwards to avoid overwrites.

@Alex, that workaround actually works! There a couple of issues though:
1. I’m having trouble making subclips from multiple clips.
2. I have to manually create and name each subclip.
Frankly, I’m shocked that there’s not a more convenient or efficient method. I’ve never used Bridge. Wouldn’t other renaming tools be the same as if I copied and pasted each and every filename manually?
