Thanks Craig – I’ll make sure I look out for that in future, hadn’t realised that you could control the monitoring of the channels

Thanks so much for all your answers. I think the camera only monitors one channel as it turns out. Must have been interference from somewhere – I really should have checked for mobile phones – schoolboy error.

Great – thanks for the advice. I’m def leaning towards cutting it all on an EX timeline and transcoding the DV to that.

Thanks that’s very helpful.
Just tried res-ing up the DV separately and comes out ok.
Will try the ProRes timeline again – not sure why the HDV is coming up Red.
