    No the frame size is not what I`m referring to. The frame size is due to my using the (apple/shift/4) key to draw a square around the text so you can see the quality in both environments.
    I checked and double checked frame size, the output, all, to make sure it matches the FCP timeline media.

    Thanks for the tip. I put them on photo bucket.
    One pic is from Motion, the other is when i render it to the timeline in FCP5.

    I exported as animation, and the standalone .mov file is perfect – just like in motion.

    But when I import the .mov into FCP it gets ugly.
    I made sure the IRE`s are at 70. And the frame rate/size match my current timeline in FCP.
    I also tried duplicating the frames from FCP to Motion but same bad results.
    Anyway I`m at a loss, is there some basic step I`m missing? Have you seen this problem before?

    Shift Apple 3. takes a picture and puts it on my desktop. Sorry for my ignorance but how do I get that .png picture into this message box?
