Can I set a batch of tasks? I have tons of clips that certain ones need to be merged together. Can I set up a batch of multiple merges or can I only do 1 at a time? (so far MPEg was the only program that allowed me to do this which is why I stuck with it so long)

Craig,

Thanks for your input. Yes MPEG is much slower and doesn’t work on newer OSX.

Excuse my ignorance, but what are clusters?

Thanks! It works great on my snow leopard mac, any idea how to make it work on Mountain lion, or a different program with both features on mountain lion?

First of all, you have replied and helped me on countless posts on these forums in many different categories. I just wanted to show my appreciate for your time and willingness to help. So I’d like to say thank you!

Second – your answer is unfortunately what I was afraid you would say! big budgeted sophisticated tools. I think if I spend enough time I can emulate something close enough for the project I have in mind. I’m new to 3D motion tracking. Where would you recommend I go for training on it? I’m a fairly quick learner.

Thnaks for the input. May seem like a dumb question, but do you only use one of the two end plugs on the libec? I.E. whichever one fits your sony? Because when looking at the remote online I keep see’ing pictures of a Panasonic that has two diff. sized ports that they both plug in. I guess my short question is, are they both just diff sized plugs that do the same thing for cameras with one lanc port? (did I make sense with my question?)

Thanks a lot for all of your help. I’m lacking in skill when it comes to compression and need all the help I can get in that category. Im going to read all these articles and posts you guys put up, if you know of any others let me know please, appreciate all the help. In terms of software, I have Final Cut Studio 2 and the full CS4 Adobe suite. I’ve been using adobe media encoder, but not really sure which would be better or best to use…
