Many thanks for all your inputs (sorry). So, as I understand it, the bag will contain:

    4 wireless receivers
    4 wireless mic transmitters
    4 ac adapters
    1 4 channel mixer
    plus,
several pounds of cables and batteries.

    That about cover it?

    Hi Rich,

I used the IP address listed in the instruction book and could not get to their site. Not sure why…

    OK,

I tried using IE and Netscape to enter the IP address (192.168.1.1) and both browsers timed out. Should I try another browser? Do I have to do the same thing on the mac? Inquiring minds (small ones at that) want to know…

    Thanks Rich,

I’ll give that a try and let you know. Right now, as is always the case with electronic and mechanical stuff, the little darlings are humming along nicely and not acting up but I’ll do my homework so they’ll behave themselves…

As for the connections, I have the mac and pc cables into the back of the router and the internet cable going to the modem. Not using the hub at all.

    Thanks again,
    John

    Hi Rich,

Thanks for your reply. Can you help a tired old man better understand how to do what you suggested doing? I’m using Safari and Netscape 7.2. Should I look up linksys on the net and go to their diagnostics page? Where do I find the IP of the router/provider? At their sites? Sorry for my lack of ‘common sense’ on these things…

Glad to know you and others understand this stuff

    Hi Curtis,

Thanks for your quick reply. Since I can run the internet with the router excluded, does it mean a bad router, improperly connected router or bad cable? I’ve swapped out cables and it doesn’t make the problem go away.

    Thanks,

    John

    Hi again Wayne,

How can I lift the audio from the pal dvd and sync it up with the video once it renders?

    Hi Wayne,

Yes, I did go to the site and thought about getting the plugin or upgrading to high speed internet (not an early adopter by any means). Then I saw the post about the free ‘mac the ripper’ and got that plus the high speed. Call me greedy but waiting to upload, download, on/offload is making my hair turn a shiny shade of gray. So much so that me espousa has begun weekly rituals of coloring my hair with some foul smelling gunk while I sit here and tap away…

So thank you very much for your suggestions and when that “PAYING CLIENT” comes a knocking I will definately go for the gusto with that plugin…

Now, how are you about convincing mac’s and pc’s to talk with one another??
