After another cup of coffee and cigarette I may have resolved my issue. See, I’m just using 3d without a camera. So if I used one is it just a matter of flying the camera through all those images? I’ll try it and see. Will the flying of the previous images have to be redone with the addition of the camera?

The original object was to be able to swap out some parts and save a few bucks, if possible. May take your suggestion if I can get a refund on this one.

The MBP doesn’t have a firewire 400 input that I know about and the drive is only 230 gb. My cable is for a 400 which is why I daisy chained the whole thing. funny, it worked with the DVX for transfer but not the Canon. Any more thoughts? Thanks again.

Thanks for the quick reply Michael. I have two FW 800 drives but want to know if I plug the camera into the 400 port how will it show up in FCP? Will it hurt anything?
