| Comments and Things Worth Noting |
I've been a broadcaster and stage performer since 1956 (I was 3 years old). I am an actor, singer, after dinner speaker, master of ceremonies, and story teller. I have taught university level courses at the University of Minnesota-Duluth and the University of Wisconsin-Superior. My research has been presented to the Speech Association of Minnesota. I have worked with non-profits, government agencies, and political candidates on media policies and plans. I have been recognized in my community and within the University for both my public service and the excellence of my work. I have been a talk show host, sports broadcaster, newscaster, disc jockey, and pretty much everything else you can do in a radio station. In my spare time I direct radio plays. I own my own consulting business, and have helped young television reporters learn how to read their own copy intelligently. I also have broad experience in political advocacy and grass roots activism.
