Thanks for the response.
I have a JVC Super VHS deck, both VHS & DV, connected to my Macbook Pro laptop via a device: a ADVC-55.
My Final Cut is version 7. I have transferred many hours of old VHS tapes, no problem. The playback is normal on my TV, but when I playback inside FC, it jumps sporadically, many games at a time. Unusable.
And, I am writing to an external HD, with plenty of room.
