Unfortunately MSI does not offer any audio output options. I prefer MSI as it allows me to capture two audio channels. For some more general information, I opened the file using Blender’s video editor (didn’t realize it had one until troubleshooting yesterday) and an audio channel was present. I have reinstalled Vegas Pro hoping that something was lost in the OS transfer, but to no avail.
I tend to agree that it must be something to do with MSI now that you mention it, as older videos I produced on Win 7 open in Vegas Pro just fine with both audio channels being present.
Well I figured it out, and am almost too ashamed to admit it. I forgot that Vegas Pro 11 doesn’t support multichannel audio tracks, and in my haste I did not ensure that “Downmix multichannel audio to stereo” was selected in Afterburner. I apologize to everyone for the wasted time, and especially to Vegas Pro for ever doubting its sanity.
